Sessions Slaps Kerry...and McCain?

The Hotline's blog made an interesting find a few days ago, as they caught Alabama's own Jeff Sessions taking shots at his fellow Republican senators, whether he knew it or not.

Several US senators attended the World Economic Forum, held regularly in Davos, Switzerland. Democrat John Kerry attended the conference and came back increasingly critical of the Bush administration's energy efforts and urged new directions for US energy policy.

On the floor of the Senate Sessions called for the senators who attended the forum to "spend more time trying to get the oil prices and gasoline prices down."

However, John Kerry was not the only US Senator to make the trip to Davos. The Senate delegation also included John Sununu (R-NH), Saxby Chambliss (R-GA), and John McCain (R-AZ).

Whether or not Sessions knew he was including his co-partisans in the jab is up for interpretation.

Atleast Senator Sessions spoke his mind and only said what a lot of other Senators were afraid to say."KEEP IT UP SENATOR SESSIONS"H.B.

Sessions can't put a sentence together, and the reason he is not invited to world class forums such as Davos.

Sessions malaprops get more insulting. just in september, he was rebuked by time or newsweek magazine for publicly stating he needed to find a millionaire victim of katrina because that would help him kill the death tax.
Well, by that reasoning, if we can find a poor victim of katrina, does that mean we can kill welfare?
Sessions has been known and seen around DC pontificating aimlessly to himself attempting to solve his childhood challenge "if poison goes bad, does that mean its good for you?". and so it goes...

McCain should have been back in Washington helping Bush, Sessions and their corporate cronies get oil and gas prices down.

Sessions is no more than a rubber stamp Republican. Of course he knew. It's the same attack that most middle-of-the-road politicians have to endure. You're either completely with us, or you're completely against us. Same deal with the far-lefties. There is no dissent. There is no middle ground. There is no compromise. There is no reasoning. It's just black and white with no room for gray, and heaven forbid an original thought enter the room.

Gas prices are a thing that just isn't of great concern to the higher ups. If it were, they would have passed some REAL legislation that forced our U.S.-based refineries to cut down on their "wonderful" additives that make cars less fuel efficient, and increase standards on vehicles, making them as fuel efficient as those sold in Europe. If there were any REAL outrage over oil prices, they would have creamed Sen. Ted Stevens for not making the execs swear in at the last Senate hearing. (Big surprise! They lied!)

I can assure you that this is nothing more than p.r.b.s., as is about 80% of the statements made by both parties in our Congress.

Jeff Sessions is another in a long list of Alabama officials who go to show why Ala. always rates at the bottom. Jeffrey-Bob is the cable guy in a bad suit!

Sessions has never had an original thought in his life. He does give alabama a bad name. He is the Bud Cramer of the republican delegation, but at least Cramer gets respect at home. No one has ever peered deeply into Sessions activities.

I think Sessions is just about the dopiest Senator up there. I'm sure the rest of the Senate will blow it off. I echo that he can't put a sentence together. It's still a goof up that he got that job.
